The energy company BayWar.e. and LIFE Wood for Future have held a meeting sponsored by the Delegation of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the Andalusian Government in Granada to discuss possible ways of collaboration in sponsorship. The meeting was also attended by the City Council of Alhendín, where the company is planning the installation of a solar plant, and the head of sponsorship of the UGR.
Based in 31 countries, BayWa r.e. develops renewable energy while acting as a distributor and provider of leading global energy services and solutions that actively contribute to shaping the future of energy.
Following a presentation of the LIFE Wood for Future project, the project coordinator, University of Granada professor Antolino Gallego, outlined three avenues of collaboration:
The poplar crop has been the protagonist of one of the four days of the course on “New crops and alternative crops” promoted by the Escuela Familiar Agraria (EFA) El Soto located in Chauchina. The Escuela Familiar Agraria (EFA) “El Soto” is a vocational training center whose mission is to achieve the development of the rural environment.
The event on construction with wood and other lignocellulosic materials will be held in Granada on September 24, 25 and 26, 2025. The congress is organized by the Lignomad Network, the UIMA laboratory of the University of Granada and the LIFE Wood for Future project.
