LIFE Wood forFuture has contributed to the program of activities of the VI Edition of the “Semana de la Vega”, held between 17 and 23 April 2023, with the activity “Trees, rivers and wood: keys to our future”, organized by the Diputación de Granada, with the collaboration of the University of Granada and developed on April 20, 2023.
This activity, in addition to being an element of dissemination of the project “LIFE Wood for the future”, has been a means to raise awareness of students from schools in the Vega de Granada on the value of wood as an environmental resource and a sustainable economy, paying special attention to the value of reforestation of our forests and rivers.
They have participated, along with their teachers, students of 6th grade of primary school of CEIP “La Almohada” of Belicena and “Vírgen de los Dolores” of Purchil, as well as students of 1st of ESO of IES Arabuleila, of Cúllar Vega.
